SPRING-FLOWERING BULBS such as anemone, daffodil, ranunculus, grape hyacinth and Freesia are planted in autumn and bloom in spring.
SUMMER-FLOWERING BULBS AND TUBERS These include dahlia, iris and gladiolus, and are planted in spring; they bloom in summer and into autumn. The popular ‘Café au Lait’ dahlia is currently available on The Flower Cartel’s website as a pot plant.
ANNUALS These plants thrive in hot weather and die at the end of summerbloom profusely and are easy to grow.
