Paul Stenning from Bridgewater in Somerset, has owned a few VWs over the years, his first being a Mk1 GP Buggy that was followed by Beetles, a ’66 Squareback and two Bay Windows, one of which he still owns – this ’68 Dormobile, affectionately known as Tetley. You know he’s owned it for some time (since 2000 to be precise) when you discover he paid just £1,800 for it. That was cheap, even 21 years ago, but the price, along with the nickname, should give you some indication of the condition Tetley was in when Paul added his name to the logbook.
