    ‘The sun shone, the people we love were there and it was just the best day’

    She won double gold at the Beijing Olympics and, 13 years on, 2021 has brought two more very special reasons for record breaker Rebecca Adlington to celebrate.

    For HELLO! can exclusively reveal that five months after welcoming her second child, the 32-year-old swimming champion has taken the plunge and married dashing facilities manager Andy Parsons, baby Albie’s dad.

    The couple, who revealed they met through the dating app Bumble three and a half years ago, wed on Saturday 28 August at Cheshire’s Scarlet Hall – a joyous development in their romance that took even the happy couple somewhat by surprise.

    “The sun shone, the people we love were there and it was just the best day,” a beaming Becky tells us.
