Models Anja Konstantinova, Danielle Littleford and Sabey Dantsira had never met before this morning, when they turned up to their joint cover shoot. Immediately bonding, they vow to stay in touch.
Although very different, all three girls have powerful stories – all are a testament that positivity can help you overcome challenges that come your way. Their individual beauty may sit outside of the ‘traditional’ model look because of height, shape or size, but their growing success proves that increasingly as a society we are seeking models with a voice, style and personality that people can relate to.
Anja Konstantinova is a mother of two young sons, she modelled throughout both pregnancies, as well as soon after giving birth. “I was so lucky that I did carry on,” she tells us, during a break from shooting. “Pregnancy is a natural process. It’s nice we now see real pregnant girls, with realistic bodies, not just a model with an artificial bump.
