    Once I discovered the combination of grapefruit and mint, I wondered where it had been all my life. With its zesty, bitter notes, grapefruit complements the cool freshness of mint so well.

    I don’t have a grapefruit tree, but my grandad has a huge tree, so I collect whatever fruit he doesn’t use. From this, I love making a big batch of thick grapefruit and mint curd. It’s delicious mixed with yogurt or dolloped over a pavlova.
