Test fleet: BMW R 1250 RT LE

I remember someone telling me years ago that BMW car customers were more likely to buy another car from the same manufacturer if they had experienced a breakdown with their current BMW. This was not because they wanted to experience more breakdowns, but because BMW was so good at dealing with everything in their hour of need.

Having the car fixed quickly, courtesy car provided, and everything done with a smile made people want to stay with BMW. I’m not sure if that’s true or not, but it goes to show how important it can be to look after your customer, and it has stuck toin my memory for years. I never thought that I would have to rely on BMW’s assistance,
