ARAI RAPIDE (CONCEPT-X) HELMET

Arai has unashamedly gone for old-school cool in the design of the Rapide. It gives more than a nod to the Simpson helmets of the 80s, but keeps its profile unmistakably Arai. This feeling is highlighted through retro designs by some of the best designers in the industry. The black and white Speedblock colourway on my helmet was put together by the well-known British designer 360 Concepts, a gentleman who has been responsible for more than a few iconic helmets over the years.

The two eye-catching features of the Rapide are the vented chin piece and the mechanical-looking visor mounting system.
