Walmart Offering Full College Tuition And Books For Employees

As a result, approximately 1.5 million part-time and full-time Walmart and Sam's Club workers in the U.S. will be able to earn college degrees or learn trade skills without the burden of debt.

In an effort to help decrease the growing student debt nationwide, Walmart Tuesday that the company will begin offering free college tuition and books to its 1.5 million U.S. employees, effective Aug. 16.
