Beat / Your sophomore album Under Darkening Skies feels familiar. At the same time, it never sounds like a simple rehash of the formula of its predecessor Amniotic. How do you look back on your debut with hindsight?
Monolink / I‘m glad to hear that. And I‘ve actually come to enjoy Amniotic more and more over time. There is something timeless about it. It was my first full-length and I like the fact that it turned out so pure and direct. Now, on Under Darkening Skies, I feel like I expanded my sonic palette and was capable of expressing myself more precisely.
