What did it mean to you to emulate Diego Maradona by playing for Napoli very early in your career?

Throughout my career I had a photograph of Maradona on my left shinpad, and Roberto Baggio on the right. I was the last person to wear Maradona’s shirt number – they retired it after that. It was a huge responsibility, but I tried to do my best to honour his shirt. The fans loved me and treated me phenomenally.
