So, Dave, why do people call you ‘Harry’?

My father’s name was Harry and there were a lot of Daves in my school. One of my good pals called me Harry because my mum was always on at my dad – ‘Harry this’ and ‘Harry that’. When I got teams promoted, it was ‘Harry Houdini’, then ‘Dirty Harry’. As boss of Wimbledon there were pictures of me and Clint Eastwood in the papers! There was this concoction that Wimbledon was rough and tumble, so it was convenient.
