Shortly before your retirement in 2017, you became the world’s most successful player having won 37 honours. How did that feel?
I never really gave a lot of importance to that record during my career. But once I’d retired, it was nice to look back and realise everything I experienced in football. Being part of many great sides is definitely more important than the trophies. I’m grateful to have played for big teams and with top players – that’s what makes me proud. I could only win the titles because of my privilege of working with very talented guys at successful clubs.
