Coin Collecting Gradually Springing Back to Life

It’s been a somewhat long and twisting trail, but as the month of April passes into history, evidence is steadily unfolding indicative that our extended and rather lamented accommodations to the COVID-19 pandemic are finally breaking up. Live coin club meetings and coin shows are slowly springing back to life around Wisconsin – and across the country.

April Fools’ Day found me at my desk clearing various accepted tasks from my to-do stack, that pursuit bracketing lunch at the Crystal Café. Taking leave in the afternoon a bit earlier than usual, Sally and I closed out the day with a short shopping trip to Appleton and dinner at the Asian Garden. Good Friday morning was again spent at the office, followed by lunch at the Woods Restaurant in Waupaca with Randy Thern, and the balance of the day spent relaxing at home.

Saturday got under way with a drive up to Iola to spend the morning at the office continuing to work through those previously referenced tasks that had fallen behind. In the evening Sally
