Is there anything more deliciously British than tea and crumpets? You would never know that these are gluten-free and they’re far easier to make than you might think.
YOU WILL NEED
400ml milk, warmed
2tsp caster sugar
1tbsp active dried yeast (ensure it’s gluten-free)
300g gluten-free self-raising flour
½tsp bicarbonate of soda
½tsp salt
Vegetable oil, for cooking
HOW TO DO IT
Stir your warm milk, caster sugar and yeast together in a jug, then allow to stand for 10
