LOST!
For the 100th time you check the darkening November sky. Midday is long gone, dusk in the deer woods is fast approaching and you still can’t decide which direction leads out. With rising desperation, you push on through the brush, your pace increasing and a frantic voice is sounding inside your head, louder and louder. I’m lost! Lost? Me? Never!
Few whitetail hunters want to admit it, but spend enough time in the tall timber and sooner or later you’re going to get lost. Call it turned around, slightly off course or momentarily confused. The reality is that anyone can get lost, and the real shame is how experienced, clear-thinking folks won’t admit it until it’s way too late.
