For many Ford fans, their lifelong dream of owning an RS of some sort has steadily disappeared from view over recent years, mainly due to rising prices.
The boom began with Mk1 and Mk2 Escorts, then it was Cosworths, and more recently RS Turbos and XRs have all experienced their own surges in value. Collectors are spending big bucks while the average working person is either moving onto more affordable classics, or coming up with more creative ways to get that RS buzz.
