Vitamin C is vital for collagen production, which provides structure and therefore plumpness to your skin – think citrus fruits, peppers and broccoli. ‘A healthy diet gives you the building blocks for a healthy skin,’ explains Dr Adam Friedmann from Stratum Clinics. ‘But fresh raw fruit and veg contains lots of antioxidants and there’s evidence to show that antioxidants are very good at soaking up damage caused by the sun.’
