Q KRISSY, TELL US WHEN YOU FIRST BECAME ACTIVE – AND WHY?
I started exercising when I was at university. I was stressed – lectures by day and waitressing in the evenings – and felt like everything was getting on top of me. I had also recently come out of a difficult relationship. I remember walking past the gym on my way home and signing up, although it took me two months to actually step foot inside. I had to take control of my routine and habits to feel confident and happy, all of which I’ve achieved through fitness and being active.
Q WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE FORMS OF EXERCISE?
I love strength training – it makes me feel strong and confident. I think compound movements are the best to target different muscle
