The Westerners

It was some time back when I meandered across to King's Lynn in Norfolk to meet Sam Harry, Pat Baker, plus a contingent of past members of the Kings Lynn Westerners SC. I told them at the end of the meeting that it would be quite a while before their story actually made it into C/ass/c Scooter/sf - but little did either they or I realise that this would be 10 years!

So let's start this article with an apology to them for this unprecedented delay caused by a number of factors; firstly I had to wait to receive some additional information plus answers to other questions that had arisen since the original interview; what then followed this was a series of office 'movearounds and relocations' in the offices - and in the midst of all this chaos, my file on The Westerners slipped down the back of my file cabinet , only to be revealed when I was sorting
