Be elated, Chris! Break out the champagne. This is a fantastic piece of news so please do not let anything spoil the thrill of such an achievement. A two-book deal is terrific. Well done you.

Having said that, I do truly understand those twinges of alarm. Which I get every time I see the delivery date on a contract. But as you say, people do manage to write books in all sorts of circumstances. And you can too.
