LIVING WITH LANDY LOCKDOWN

WE live in unprecedented times. Rather an overused description, but as Land Rover fans we’re facing an empty spring and summer. Shows and club gatherings are going down like ninepins and, as I write this, only one or two shows are still clinging on in the hope that the optimists are correct and that it will all be over in a couple of months. Add to that the travel restrictions and it’s all pretty grim, but we all try to retain a sense of perspective in terms of what this is really all about, and hope that the government’s strategy is the right one to see us through and save lives. Time will tell.

All this got me thinking that there must be a few things I could do to take my mind off the doom and gloom while at the same time giving me my Land Rover fix, as well as that nice warm sense of satisfaction that comes from doing something you’ve meant to do for ages but
