HAND QUILTING KANTHA DESIGNS

Help! Some of the designs I like for kantha quilting don’t seem suited to many lines of quilting. Can I do anything about this?

The amount of spacewas simplified to remove outer parts of the design, and then enlarging the remaining parts to make them easier to sew, resulting in . It could be simplified even further as in . The other trick to try is to rotate a design 45-degrees, as this often means it can be enlarged further. The design in is quite small, but if the elements are turned 45-degrees and rearranged, they can be enlarged by 150%, as in .
