The foods I’ve really missed over the last few months aren’t the ones I would have expected to miss. I don’t know if I was seeking comfort or trying to trigger happy memories, but I had a massive hankering for things like kebabs. So, there was only one thing for it: make my own! I’ve never hidden my love for takeaways – there’s a reason why kebabs are so popular, and that’s because they’re packed with flavour. And, when done properly (and when you can account for everything that’s been put into them, and how they’ve been made), they can be outstanding.
