FOND MEMORIES OF THE ROYALS
The article on Princess Beatrice and Eduardo Mozzi and the lovely photographs of them outside the Royal Chapel (YOU, 30 July) brought back a flood of memories.
Having left school in Cape Town in 1954, I spent six months at Cumberland Lodge in Windsor Great Park, before going up to Oxford University.
The lodge was a few hundred metres from the Royal Chapel and with visiting students from the lodge, I often attended Sunday matins at the chapel. Throughout my Oxford years, I spent vacations at the lodge,
