Caroline’s daughter, Millie, recently ...view moreCaroline Robertson holds a Master of Planning Studies from Dalhousie University and is a lead planner and co-founder of C+D Community Design. Caroline’s daughter, Millie, recently passed away at 16 months of age. Mille was born with two congenital heart defects, Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and Pulmonary Vein Stenosis. Millie and her parents spent many months away from their home, living in Toronto, while she received treatment at Sick Kids Hospital. Caroline started a YouTube channel called Millie’s Perfect Heart to provide updates on her daughter’s health journey as well as offer educational videos about living with a child who has a congenital heart defect. During Millie’s short time on Earth, she made a huge impact on her community and the world of pediatric cardiology. Caroline is currently taking some time off to mourn the loss of her beautiful child and has found some peace in writing. This is her first novel and is loosely based on her experiences.view less
