THE VENUE: The Schooner Inn, Alnmouth.
THE HAUNTING: Built in the 1600s as a coaching inn, this quaint yet distinct building has a dark and bloody past. Close to a secluded bay, the Schooner Inn was used as a hideaway and drop-off point by smugglers and vagabonds. There are tales of suicide, murders and a brutal family massacre. An incredible 60 ghosts are said to walk the inn’s dark corridors. A dark cellar under the bar area contains a tunnel
