Let’s face it, with the increasing number of vehicles on our roads, it seems decency and common courtesy have been thrown out the window as many motorists adopt an attitude of putting themselves first.

This in an era where general lawlessness seems to be the order of the day as minibus taxis continuously commit the most atrocious road-traffic violations, e-hailing drivers who turn or stop suddenly because they don’t know the lay of the land, and delivery riders on scooters and small-capacity bikes that dangerously teeter between life and death as everyone interprets the rules in their own way.
