How to use ornamental grasses

THE popularity currently being enjoyed by ornamental grasses is well deserved. Flower arrangers have seized upon them for the special value of their flower or seedheads when dried. Ornamental grasses are useful both as flowering plants in the garden and as foliage plants, with many being strikingly variegated while others have waxy, glaucous leaves.
