‘I was always really embarrassed about the whole thing, but I’m never embarrassed about it now’

Watching Hayley light up the small screen as a host of The Great Kiwi Bake Off and comedic current affairs show Have You Been Paying Attention?, it’s easy to pick that she was the class clown at school.

“I just crave making people laugh,” she beams when she sits down to chat to Good Health & Wellbeing.

Since graduating from New Zealand’s drama school Toi Whakaari, her love of comedy and performance has also landed her roles on Jono and Ben and Funny Girls, solo slots at comedy festivals, and earned her a number of accolades and rave reviews.

With her glowing skin and sparkling eyes, something much harder to pick about the entertainer is that since a young age, she has been dealing with a frustrating health condition.
