Field of Diamonds
This quilt is a perfect portable stitching project. Mel has chosen the traditional Field of Diamonds design so she could make simple fabric choices – two fabrics for each diamond of hexagons: one bright print and one solid shot cotton. The prints are mostly Kaffe Fassett and a fabulous spot for the background!
Make your cutting amazingly easy by using the Accuquilt GO! Hexagon die (55422) or use the perspex Mel hexagon template with removable seam allowance – more information on these can be found on the following pages.
