    STRAWBERRY SWEET ROLLS

    Makes 12

    5⅓ cups self-rising flour
    ¼ cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar, divided
    1 tablespoon kosher salt
    1 cup cold salted butter, cubed
    1¾ cups cold whole milk
    ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
    ½ cup strawberry preserves
    1 cup diced strawberries
    1 large egg
    1 tablespoon water
    Strawberry Glaze (recipe follows)
