2019 NCHA Non Pro Pinnacle Champion

Tell us about your background?

I grew up riding horses on a cattle property "Tumlong" at Barraba NSW that my parents Kerry Ann and Campbell Tonkin own. All of our stock work is done on horses, so as a child I rode miles and miles and spent countless hours in the saddle. I did Pony club and my family campdrafted as I was growing up. I loved both of these as I love competing and have loved the thrill of competing since an early age, needless to say I have a very competitive nature and I have had to work hard on being a good sport!! I also had some show ponies, did ASH classes and dabbled in a little bit of showjumping as a teenager. In 2003 I was the ABCRA runner up Juvenille Rider and 2 mares that my family owned Schilla Snake and CTK Willow were Champion
