1 Be positive

Resolutions often fail when they’re negative – for example, “don’t eat dessert” or “stop smoking”. Negative resolutions require you to be constantly vigilant. That’s mentally tough. “The (TarcherPerigee, 2015). It’s far easier to make active goals. Turn resolutions such as “I won’t be a couch potato” into a more positive “I’ll hit yoga class twice a week.” Or instead of “I’ll quit eating dessert,” try “I’ll eat an amazing dessert only on Saturdays.”
