This Corsair has had quite a life, as owner Paul Watts explains: “It’s a 1966 two-door Corsair GT that was donated by Ford to Norwich City College in July 1968 for apprentices to practise on.” It was no ordinary Corsair either. “This was an experimental car, the rear chassis where the rear spring hangers locate is cut and moved 2 inches upwards and 2 inches outboard of the chassis rails, the front spring mounts also are 2 inches lower and 2 inches inboard of the chassis.
