Examining the role of the exhibition designer

Exhibition design has received very little acknowledgement or media attention in the past but the inclusion of two museum exhibition projects in the 2017 Australian Interior Design Awards suggest that an examination of the discipline and appropriateness of the title “exhibition designer” is overdue.
