BAREFOOT in the KITCHEN from Myanmar

One of the highlights of my trip to Myanmar (known historically as Burma) was the delicious Burmese food. I have never tasted such great Asian food, and, best of all, it was naturally healthy and fresh – mostly cooked on the spot and, in many cases, straight from farm to plate. I was also lucky enough to be allowed to spend some time in the kitchens with the chefs preparing these meals, and some of these recipes and ideas I brought back home.
