DECADENT CHOCOLATE AND RASPBERRY CAKE
Rich, moist and delicious – the perfect cake for a special occasion. The fresh raspberries add a wonderful sweet-sour flavour which complements the dark chocolate perfectly.

Oven temperature: 160°C
♥ 270g (290ml) soft butter
♥ 270g dark chocolate, chopped
♥ 270g (500ml) cake flour
♥ 4ml baking powder
♥ 4ml bicarbonate of soda
♥ 350g (405ml) brown sugar
♥ 4 large eggs
♥ 250ml buttermilk
ICING
♥ 170g (185ml) soft butter
♥ 345g (665ml) icing sugar, sifted
♥ 5ml vanilla essence
♥ 35-40ml milk
♥ 160g punnet fresh raspberries
CHOCOLATE GLAZE
♥ 50ml cream♥ 100g dark chocolate, chopped♥ 20ml golden syrup♥ chocolate
