• ⅔ yard cream print cotton for background• ⅓ yard brown plaid wool #1 for borders and binding• 3½" square brown plaid wool #2 for stem• 7½" x 18" white over dyed wool for pumpkin• 6 – 5" squares total in greens, golds, and orange/red for star shaped leaves• 3 – 5" x 6" rectangles total in reds and oranges for three• ⅔ cotton fabric of choice for backing• Valdani size 8 perle cotton in colors to match appliqué, see chart• 14" square Shape Flex 101 (fusible interfacing)• 22" square batting, Suzy prefers Warm and Natural• 505 spray adhesive, optional• Freezer paper
