Forward to a Shining Future!
The celebration begins! Pop open a bottle of champagne, sparkling water, or apple juice, and celebrate! 2020 has arrived with an impressive lineup of astrological events that will move us onward and upward toward a brighter future. The planets can at times seem to both help or hinder us as we move along, but the real key to that brighter future is us, and we can do the best to reach it based on how aware we are of planetary movements, and how we deal with them the challenges they present.
To give just a small example of what we face, 2020 features six eclipses, two more than usual, four of which will be lunar eclipses and two of which will be solar eclipses. Another good example is the conjunction of Saturn and Pluto in January, an event that occurs about once every 35 years. The last such conjunction occurred in November of 1982 in Libra, marking a time of thoughtfulness that would have led to discussions and decisions about our goals in life. This year it happens in Capricorn, a sign of finality and decisiveness that will have many of us making changes we have long considered.
Three other major cosmic transitions are key features of the year: Jupiter and Saturn entering Aquarius, and the North Node entering Gemini. Saturn will tiptoe into Aquarius in March, the North Node makes his move into Gemini in May, and Jupiter will join Saturn in Aquarius in December.
