Every year, Catherine Tyldesley makes the same New Year’s resolution: “To be happier and healthier than the one before.”
This time, however, the bar is set significantly higher than usual, coming as it does on the heels of the 36-year-old actress’s stint on Strictly Come Dancing , which she credits for helping her overcome a tough bout of low self-esteem.
“I was lacking in confidence and I didn’t feel comfortable in my own skin. That’s not a nice feeling,” Catherine tells us, kicking off her heels during a family holiday with fitness trainer turned photographer husband Tom Pitfield, 33, and their four-year-old son Alfie at Dubai’s Le Royal
