MAKING WAVES ON A VISIT TO SOUTH WALES WILLIAM AND KATE MAKE NEW FRIENDS AND COME ACROSS OLD ONES

The start of the year is usually a quiet period for the royal family, but the first few weeks of 2020 have been anything but for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Now that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have stepped back from official duties, Prince William and his wife are busier than ever, visiting towns and cities across the UK, hosting world leaders and helping to launch major projects, including The Royal Foundation’s Earthshot Prize and the UK-wide 5 Big Questions survey into early childhood.

Last week the pair kept up the pace, charming young and old on a visit to South Wales. Their first stop was Mumbles, near Swansea, where they were welcomed by hundreds of well-wishers who braved the elements on the seafront.
