“I have to confess I’d never lived so high up, but we wanted something with a lot of light and we had the good fortune to discover this marvellous flat,” says Don’s wife Katrina, whom the property mogul – one of the US’s most powerful, with an empire that has developed or built $8bn (£6.15bn) of property across the country – calls his “greatest adviser”.
