Tiffany Masterson's PERFECT DAY

I wake up in my home in Houston, Texas. My favourite thing ever is when it’s raining. The first thing I do is drink Teeccino chicory coffee with almond creamer. It’s completely caffeine- and acid-free. After dry-brushing my body, I shower. Once a week I use my [Drunk Elephant] Every day I have a smoothie of kale or spinach with frozen berries, peaches, ground flaxseeds, coconut oil, protein powder and alkaline water, plus a frozen banana. I recently got a herb garden with lettuce, parsley, collard greens and mint, so now I add these, too. I usually throw on workout gear by Stella McCartney and Lululemon, but if I have meetings planned, I’ll put on R13 jeans, Valentino boots and a Tibi blazer. While driving my kids to school, I listen to podcasts of motivational speakers to get my head in the right place. I don’t work from the office these days — my most creative moments happen at home on my couch. My day-to-day schedule changes, but the one constant is being on social media, answering questions and listening to feedback. Otherwise, I’m taking conference calls, meeting with my marketing, design and sales teams, or I’ll sit on my computer and study; I’m continuously designing and developing new formulations. I still write the copy for the packaging, kits and sets. I’ll have an apple with almond butter and drink the rest of my smoothie. I might have a ground turkey breast patty with spinach salad, but sometimes I forget to eat lunch. I’m definitely an eat-to-live person. Usually, I don’t unwind before bedtime, but occasionally I’ll sit in an infrared sauna and make phone calls. I’ll pick up the kids from school, and if there’s a sporting event on for one of them, I’ll watch that. I love to cook comfort food: spaghetti with meat sauce, enchiladas, beef stroganoff — you name it. I also really love pizza, we make them on a pizza stone. My ideal evening is spent by a lit fireplace in my cosiest clothes, watching true crime documentaries. We just watched ; it was interesting but disturbing. I’m also on Instagram a ton because it’s my focus group where I learn what people think, want and like, but I purposely don’t follow other beauty brands. My ideas come from my gut and I want to keep it that way. After cleansing my face, I apply Drunk Elephant’s T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum, Protini Polypeptide Cream, B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum and a little Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil, then Lippe Balm and either C-Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream or Shaba Complex Eye Serum. On a school night, I’m in bed by On the weekend, I’m up until the last child is home safely. This could mean midnight — weekends are hard for me, sleep-wise!
