IT MIGHT be a change of life thing. I keep a small vegetable plot on the nature strip out front alongside my quiet suburban road. It is a really sunny spot, and has been terrific for growing snow peas, tomatoes, corn, chillies and the like.

The summer display is a point of interest for those on their nightly passiegata, as they walk dogs and kids on training wheels
