Italian Meatloaf

HERE ARE A lot of things you can do to jazz up a meatloaf. You can, of course, wrap it in sweet, smoky, salty bacon. You can make a gravy. Glazes—whether ketchup, barbecue, or sweet-and-sour—are always good. The test kitchen even has a recipe for Frosted Meatloaf that calls for covering the loaf in mashed potatoes.
