Long before she appeared in the 2017 big screen reboot of alongside Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, and the recent Netflix series , Ilfenesh Hadera attended an after school theater program at The Harlem School of the Arts. Her mother hoped it would keep her out of trouble — but Hadera soon realized she enjoyed acting and wanted to pursue it. Now, the Harlem-raised Hadera stars in the new series .
