    Last summer I visited one of those pretty little Cotswold towns where antique shops outnumber everything else; and when I wandered into one, I immediately set eyes on a heap of motorcycle magazines.

    Seeing there were some copies of among them, I was about to surreptitiously transpose them onto the top of the pile (never waste an opportunity to promote the product) when the stall holder started his sales pitch by offering them for 50p each. I explained
