There can’t be many people out there who can say they ended up buying a ’69 Ford Galaxie because a deal on a Mk5 Cortina fell through, yet for 48-year-old Gary Radcliffe, that’s exactly what happened. The lost opportunity to buy that Cortina may have been a shame initially, but with the money still burning a hole in his pocket and a rare chance to get hold of a ’69, two-door Galaxie instead, things couldn’t have worked out much better!
