istory’s nothing if not a “cut-and-come-again” pudding. Our enjoyment can’t compare with Bunyip Bluegum’s, Bill Barnacle’s and Sam Sawnoff’s delight in theirs though. History’s too difficult to digest; it repeats on us, and never more so than at election time.
