That's one of the issues facing the Cubs this offseason in the wake of possessing a bullpen with the lowest ERA (3.35) in the National League.
Much-welcomed stability was provided Thursday when the Cubs exercised the $6.25 million option on reliever Pedro Strop's contract. But that comes as closer Brandon Morrow is recovering from a bone bruise on his right pitching elbow that sidelined him for the entire second half of last season.
